ZEMANN IP offers professional EU trademark applications by an attorney-at-law for a fixed price starting from EUR 1,490 (excluding VAT) per mark.

Included are:

• Official fees for the application (1 class).

• Examination of the trademark for absolute grounds for refusal (descriptive signs, lack of distinctiveness, generic terms, ...).

• Identity search: Search for identical trademark registrations with protection in the EU.

• Preparation of the list of goods and services.

• Preparation and submission of the trademark application to the EUIPO.

• Correspondence with the EUIPO.

• Transmission of the registration certificate.

Add-ons:

• If you need protection for more than one class, the fixed price increases by EUR 100 (excluding VAT) for the second class and EUR 200 for each additional class.

• A trademark similarity search prior to registration is advisable, as not only older identical trademarks can be problematic, but also older similar trademarks. ZEMANN IP offers the conduct of a trademark similarity search starting from EUR 400 (excluding VAT).

• If ZEMANN IP should take over trademark management and be registered as a representative with the EUIPO (including reminder for renewal after 10 years), a surcharge of EUR 50 (excluding VAT) will be charged.

Not included are the following costs:

• If there are objections from the EUIPO during the registration process, for example, if the examiner considers that the trademark is not registrable, the associated services will be charged at an hourly rate.

• If there is an opposition against the trademark application, related services will be charged at an hourly rate.
